Everyone talks about how work is changing. Let’s talk about what to do about it. We have a once-in-a-generation opportunity to redefine the workplace. MillerKnoll’s approach fosters a sense of community and connection, addresses the human needs of employees to improve their wellbeing, and helps organizations navigate, prepare, and design for change. We call it Design With Impact, and it focuses on three specific ways to help your workplace deliver value for your people and your business.
Bertie will cover topics which include:
-
Why wellbeing matters (physical, social and cognitive support)
-
Seeking connection in a distributed world
-
The space to harness change (planning for it, learning to navigate it, empowering your people to embrace it)
-
What this means for workplace strategy and space designs
By refocusing the workplace on what people need for the ways we work today, we will show how Design With Impact supports community and ongoing transformation, and provide strategies and tools to uncover the purpose of your place
You will also be among the first visitors to walk through MillerKnoll London, 1,700 m2 dedicated to Knoll, Herman Miller, and Maharam, spread across three floors, to explore a few examples of spaces organisations can design to support employee wellbeing, connection and change.
Speaker: Bertie van Wyk - Senior Insight Strategist - MillerKnoll
